Travels
In 2015, I went on educational leave studying Arabic in Jordan, Oman and Lebanon for a full year. I entirely fell in love with West Asia aka Middle East (from a European perspective) when I started desert hiking. I got to know the region and its people and it felt like a new world was opening up for me.
My experiences did not let me leave the region until the pandemic hit me. Everything in me started to grow and expand while I was there. I met the most wonderful and adorable people and talents. That’s actually how my podcast started. I wanted to share my experiences with great women especially who differed so profoundly from what I was hearing from home.
I travelled from Saudi Arabia to Iran and from the Kurdish territories in Iraq to Oman. Some of it you can read in my blog or listen to my podcast:
